Alexander Ocheretjansky

Born in Kiev in 1946, Alexander Ocheretjansky now lives in the United States. Ocheretjansky is a poet, essayist, collagist, and researcher of the Avant-Garde who began his art and literature activities in the early 1970s. He moved to the USA in 1979. Since 1989 he has been the editor and publisher of "Chernovik" magazine, focusing on aspects of non-traditional literature and art, including visual and experimental poetry. Ocheretjansky has published articles and poems in newspapers, magazines, and books in the USA, Russia, France, Germany, Latvija, and Ukraine.
